Trauma-Informed Consulting

Have questions on trauma-informed care?

Rachel is open to working with any individual or business who are looking to provide and/or evaluate their level of trauma-informed care.

This may look like going over an individualized educational plan (IEP) with a parent, teacher, SLP, etc., to make sure the goals, accommodations, and services are trauma-informed. Or a Communication Disorders Professor/Department wanting to discuss whether they are providing trauma-informed education to their students. A standardized assessment production company who is unsure their tests are trauma-informed. Or, an SLP who is unsure of what their role is in using trauma-informed care.

By consulting with Rachel, we can best support our clients of any age, setting, or population.

Rachel is also continuously advocating for improved conditions and salaries for SLPs and has been providing public comments during school board meetings. She is a huge proponent of salary transparency and advising colleges & universities to help potential SLPs understand finances as part of their career choice.
